We will be attending the Kitchener Waterloo Knitters fair with our wool, honey, and other home goods. Stop by our booth and say hi!
The Kitchener-Waterloo Knitters’ Fair is one of the largest all-knitting events in Canada. The Kitchener-Waterloo Knitters' Guild has offered a one-day fair organized "by knitters for knitters." In 2017, we celebrate the Fair's 25th anniversary, and the Guild's 31st anniersary.
Held at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex in Kitchener, Ontario, the Fair hosts over 70 vendors offering the latest and greatest of knitting products. Two huge rooms brim with vendors dedicated to craft of knitting. You can see and feel the latest yarn, ogle the vibrant colours, visit with your friends, listen to a great speaker, and pamper yourself with a hand massage. Our vendors offer an incredible display of yarns and fibre in every colour, knitting books, patterns, buttons, tools, and accessories.
In 2015 we introduced the Micro Market, a space to showcase smaller local designers and knitting-related businesses. We were delighted with the results. The Micro Market returned in 2016, and some of our vendors from the Micro Market in 2015 graduated to full booths in 2016. The Micro Market is expected to be back this year.
For fibre-fanatics who partake in multiple fibre crafts, we continue to host vendors who carry fibre for spinning.
